Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early before your scheduled session. This will give you time to park, walk up to the studio, use the bathroom if needed, and get settled before your photos begin.

When you arrive, you may park in the lot and enter the building. You can take either the elevator or the stairs—there will be signs posted to guide you directly to the studio.

If another family is finishing their session when you arrive, please feel free to step inside and wait in the designated area. The bathroom is conveniently located just outside the studio for your use.

This year’s theme is timeless and classic. The setup will feature a big white couch, clean white background, elegant green Christmas trees, a cozy white fireplace, and of course, Santa in his traditional red suit.

To complement the look, I recommend:

• Neutral tones: black, cream, beige, or soft browns

• Classic holiday styles: flannels, cozy sweaters, or festive touches

• Dressier options: holiday dresses, skirts, or suits for a more polished look

You’re more than welcome to send me outfit ideas—I’ll be happy to help you choose what photographs best with the setup. Most importantly, wear something that feels comfortable and makes you and your family feel like yourselves. ❤️

🚗 Traveling Families

If you have a longer drive to the studio, we recommend bringing your outfits with you and changing here. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early (or earlier if needed) to allow time to change without cutting into your session.

Sometimes kids may get carsick or outfits may wrinkle during the drive, so changing at the studio is often the best option. A clean, spacious bathroom is conveniently located right outside the studio for your use.

Yes! I host mini sessions for special occasions such as Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Christmas.

Facts :

-Mini sessions are offered at a discounted price and usually take place over one or two days per season. I schedule multiple clients on the same day but at different times.

-Mini sessions typically last about 15 to 20 minutes.

I do not offer "mini session" on a regular basis

• Immediate family only: These mini sessions are designed for immediate family members. If you’d like to include extended family (grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.), please book an additional time slot so we have enough time for everyone.

• Pets: Well-behaved pets are welcome! Dogs and cats make the best guests 🐾 (please leave the monkeys and tigers at home 😉). Make sure your pet uses the bathroom outside before coming in. If an accident happens, we kindly ask that you clean up after your pet.

• Studio safety: Please note that the building is monitored by 24/7 video surveillance for everyone’s safety.

Given that my studio is all white , I recommend wearing clothing in all-white, tan, or neutral tones to complement the aesthetic. We will discuss outfit choices during our planning session to ensure you feel confident and comfortable.

I have a small client closet selection available that you can borrow at no additional fee.

📸 You are more than welcome to take photos and videos during your session! I just kindly ask that you avoid distracting your little ones while I’m capturing their professional portraits.

Yes, I offer cake smash sessions at Nita Photography! To ensure a memorable and safe experience, clients are asked to bring their own cake due to potential allergy concerns. It’s important to note that only white or cream cakes are allowed, as this helps maintain the aesthetic and cleanliness of the white floor used during the session.

I recommend booking your maternity photos between 28-34 weeks of pregnancy to capture that beautiful, well-defined baby bump while you’re still comfortable enough to move around for the perfect shots.

For newborn photos, it's best to schedule the session within the first 5-14 days of your baby’s life. This is when your newborn is most sleepy and thus easily posed, creating those timeless, serene images. Whether it's the glow of impending motherhood or the precious early days of your newborn, my goal is to freeze these fleeting moments into beautiful memories you can cherish forever.

Booking early ensures you secure your preferred dates and allows us ample time to plan your perfect photoshoot experience.

Of course, Santa is kind and gentle—but to little ones, he’s still a stranger. Not every child feels comfortable sitting on his lap right away, and that’s completely normal! I never want anyone to feel upset, so here’s what we’ll do:

• We’ll try a few times with Santa directly.

• If your child is nervous, we can have them sit on the rocking horse in front of Santa, or on the floor while Santa stays in the background. This way, we can still capture magical moments without pressure.

• Sometimes, just a little time helps, which is why sessions are 15 minutes. It gives kids a chance to warm up to Santa at their own pace.

And don’t worry crying photos with Santa are classic too! (Both of my own kids have had tearful Santa pictures the past three years lol!)

You’re also welcome to bring a small, non-messy treat (like gummy bears or marshmallows) to help comfort or encourage your child during the session.

While I will do my best to capture beautiful moments , children can sometimes be unpredictable. If your child is unable or unwilling to participate during their scheduled session, the session cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Thank you for your understanding.

I understand that capturing life's precious moments can be a significant investment. That's why I enthusiastically offer flexible payment plans to accommodate clients who may find it challenging to pay the full amount upfront. You can choose to complete the payment plan before your photography session, or if you prefer to pay after the session, please note that you will receive your photos only once the payment is fully settled.

Yes, you're welcome to take a few photos without Santa, but please note they won't be on the couch, as I won’t be asking Santa to repeatedly get up and down during the session. You and your family can stand by the Christmas trees for family portraits .

If you prefer photos without Santa at all, I do offer non-Santa sessions on November 2, November 15, and select weekdays.

Yes! I offer both physical gift certificates and eGift vouchers. Our physical gift certificates can be mailed to you the next day or picked up directly from our studio in Vernon, New Jersey.

eGift vouchers can be conveniently emailed to you.

You have the flexibility to purchase these certificates for any amount you choose, or you can opt to pay for a full photography session. These options make for perfect, personalized gifts that capture and preserve special moments.

Each session is 15 minutes and includes 10 edited photos. You’ll have the option to purchase additional images for $25 each. I’ll also be offering a discounted fall gallery add-on if you'd like to expand your collection with seasonal photos.

A non-refundable retainer of $150 is due at booking to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your session date.

If you're unable to attend your session, you may transfer your booking to another family for the same time slot you reserved. Please understand that all payments are non-refundable.

If your child is sick, I will do my best to accommodate a reschedule during the week of the 16th, but please note that availability is very limited.
